Former CIA Director Calls For Tuberville’s Removal From Humanity

Gen. Michael Hayden, the former head of the CIA, had a shocking take on Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) and his battle against the woke military. A social media user asked, “Should Tommy Tuberville be removed from his committee?”

The former head of the nation’s intelligence service responded on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, with, “How about the human race?”

It takes little or no imagination to conclude the previous chief of the nation’s spy agency may well have endorsed assassinating a sitting U.S. senator. Many users tagged the FBI or other authorities in their responses or quotes.

Some noted that given his past roles, Hayden might well have been able to order the assignment to be carried out.

Tuberville carried out a much-publicized one-man blockade of Pentagon promotions. He was protesting the military’s new policy of using taxpayer dollars to pay for transportation of service members to have abortions.

Many took to social media to voice their outrage at having an influential person such as Hayden calling for the death of a political leader.

Editor-in-Chief of the Federalist Mollie Hemingway expressed her astonishment. “Former CIA Director Michael Hayden calls for the assassination of Sen. Tuberville because the senator is performing desperately needed oversight of the U.S. military.”

Logan Dobson, vice president of Targeted Victory posted, “Them: The media and the deep state are not out to get Republicans, that’s a conspiracy theory. CNN National Security Analyst and former head of the CIA Michael Hayden: Tommy Tuberville should be assassinated.”

Tuberville serves on the Senate Armed Services Committee. For months he stood in the way of bulk promotion approvals affecting hundreds of military officers as a form of protest. Without a unanimous vote, the process is tedious and time-consuming.

Senate Democrats recently were able to bypass his blockade and move some promotions forward.

This was hardly the first shot the retired Air Force general has taken against the Alabama senator. In May of 2022, Hayden tweeted, “Tommy Tuberville is an idiot!”

He was angered by Tuberville’s questioning of Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines on American involvement in the Ukraine war. In another tweet last month, the former CIA head declared “Tuberville absolutely is a racist.”
