The Biden administration’s lack of enthusiasm for securing the southern border is starting to make sense. According to illegal immigrants making their way into the country, they are hoping that President Joe Biden wins the election in November.
“If it’s Trump, it doesn’t matter how much I work or want to work. They won’t let me in,” one illegal immigrant told The Free Press.
Many illegal immigrants have reported trying to make their way across the border in fears that former President Donald Trump will defeat Biden.

One Venezuelan citizen admitted that her main concern is entering the U.S. before Election Day.
“If [Biden] doesn’t win, I can’t imagine what will happen,” Alejandra Falcon said.

After Biden took over the White House in 2020, he immediately undid all of the immigration policies set up by Trump, including halting the construction of the border wall. Ever since, illegal immigrants have been sneaking into the country at record numbers. He also reinstated the catch-and-release program.
“Part of it is that they think they can just come. I think that’s just what they’re being told,” said Alex Cuic, an immigration lawyer and professor at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio.
“They feel like there’s a pathway to come here,” he added. “It’s almost like an invite.”
The Biden administration and liberal cities have treated illegal immigrants like celebrities, handing out freebies while Americans go hungry and homeless.
As of January 2024, over 7.2 million illegal immigrants have crossed the border under Biden’s watch. Biden had ensured Americans that he would “shut down the border until it could get back under control” back in January. As usual, he’s failed to deliver.
Since then, illegal immigrants have wreaked havoc on the country, committing heinous crimes — including the killing of Laken Riley, the 22-year-old Georgia college student murdered by an illegal immigrant from Venezuela who should have been deported but was allowed to stay.
According to a new AP-NORC poll, 70% of voters disapprove of Biden’s handling of the southern border, which can interfere with his reelection. Immigration is the number one issue facing voters in November.
By now, it’s obvious that the Biden administration is trying to bring as many illegals in as a way to secure votes for the Democratic Party. The sad part is they no longer hide their intentions.
