Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is not thrilled with her foolishness on the illegal migrant crisis being called out by billionaire Elon Musk. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO responded to her mockery of Republicans for the looming federal government shutdown.
Ocasio-Cortez posted her criticism on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter that Musk also owns. “Boy math is needing 15 attempts to count the votes correctly to become Speaker and then shutting down the government 9 months later.”
She was mocking a popular meme of “girl math.”

Conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair then shared a clip of the congresswoman dramatically downplaying the current invasion of the country through the southern border. She noted that three million illegal migrants poured in under the current administration in recent months.
Ocasio-Cortez had compared Biden’s migrant crisis with immigrants gaining legal entry to the U.S. for decades through Ellis Island.
In response to St. Clair, Musk simply observed, “She’s just not that smart.”
Ocasio-Cortez apparently felt the need to back up her intelligence in her response. “I wasn’t born rich and became the youngest woman in American history to be elected to Congress.’
Then she continued by citing various “accomplishments” before ending with “stay mad.”
Interestingly, her fellow Empire State Democrats hardly share her opinion that the deluge of military-age adult males into the state is “nothing.” New York City Mayor Eric Adams continues to beg Washington for help and declares the influx will “destroy” the city.
St. Clair had none of AOC’s poor-mouthing. She retorted on X, “You grew up in the wealthy suburbs of Westchester County. Drop the Bronx shtick at the very least girly pop.”
Conservative actor Dean Cain noted the response by Ocasio-Cortez to Musk’s post did nothing to refute his claim concerning the congresswoman’s intelligence.
Chris Burnet of American Conservative magazine posted, “Okay but what about the illegal immigrants? You totally ignored that point. Because it’s indefensible.”
Meanwhile, Musk stepped into the fray over the massive influx of unvetted illegals recently. He announced that he will visit Eagles Pass, the border area that became a flashpoint for Biden’s uncontrolled migration, in coming days to see the situation for himself.
Musk and Ocasio-Cortez had a previous dust-up when he revealed his plans to purchase Twitter and charge users for specific features. Since then, he rebranded the platform as X.
