Former President Donald Trump received a strong welcome during a visit to the recent UFC match in Miami. The overwhelming message may also signal that the former president is still very popular among working men and women across the country, which may make him far more difficult to beat in the 2024 election.
Trump attended the packed UFC 287 event to support Dana White and fighter Jorge Masvidal. Masvidal has been an outspoken supporter of the 45th president.
The former president took a front-row seat and was photographed with White, the president of UFC.

Masvidal pointed to Trump from the ring and called him “the greatest president in the history of the world.”
He added, “I love that guy.”
Masvidal’s praise led to loud cheers and a chant of “let’s go Brandon!”
The former president was photographed with White, alongside former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson and singer Kid Rock.
The former president has made several other high-profile visits to the UFC arena, including during his time in the White House. Trump watched Masvidal earn a crucial victory at New York’s Madison Square Garden in 2019.
White also said in 2018 that he would “never say anything negative” about Trump.
The UFC chief credited Trump for the rebirth of mixed martial arts (MMA) in the 2000s. White said that “Donald Trump was the first to pick up the phone and call and say ‘congratulations.'”
White said that when MMA was not accepted among the major sports, Trump offered a lifeline, including traveling to a number of early events.
White was a speaker at the 2016 Republican National Convention. The MMA organizer said that Trump “has been a stand-up guy since the day I met him” and that he has become closer to the former president since he took office in 2017.
The former president also attended another major UFC event in 2021 and had a prime seat to watch the action. Trump has also been supported by a number of the major fighters in the league, including Masvidal and Tito Ortiz.
