Scott Suggests Biden Possibly ‘Compromised’ By Beijing

Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) on Sunday slammed President Joe Biden for consistently “pacifying” China’s communists. He further suggested that the president could somehow be “compromised” by Beijing.

Scott appeared with host John Catsimatidis on WABC 770 AM radio and flatly declared that no U.S. firm should be conducting business with China or Russia. America and its industries, the Republican charged, should do what is beneficial for America, our children and grandchildren.

The Republican said “All that Biden does is pacify China. I mean, I don’t know why he does it. I don’t know if he’s compromised. I don’t know what it is.” Scott accused Beijing of attempting to “defeat our way of life.”

Questions have swirled around the Biden family for months over his possible participation in son Hunter’s business ventures with Ukraine and China.

Rep. James Comer (R-KY) wrote in a letter last week that while Biden was vice president, Hunter was being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars as a “consultant” to “open doors.”

His role, Comer alleged, was to facilitate meetings between Beijing-affiliated businessmen and worldwide political leaders.

The communist giant has been noticeably more aggressive recently and is attempting to assume a much more prominent role on the world stage. Washington and Beijing have drifted further apart as China continues to proclaim its intentions of eradicating Taiwanese autonomy.

China put itself into the position of peacemaker when it recently called for a cease-fire between Russia and Ukraine. The country apparently wants to mediate possible peace talks between the warring nations.

Scott doubled down on comments he tweeted last week when he noted a poll showing Americans now recognize that China’s worldwide influence is more worrisome than that of Russia. The same survey revealed that 58% of respondents disapproved of Biden’s relations with China.

If the Florida senator has his way, business with China’s communists will grind to a halt.

As he put it, “No American business should do any business — any business — in Communist China or Russia. None!”

Scott added that “every time you buy a Chinese product, or you buy an app, or you use TikTok, the Chinese government makes money off that.” And that, he said, translates into more funding for Beijing to build a military with the goal of defeating the U.S.
