US Mail Truck In Red Georgia Country Mysteriously Destroyed

A U.S. mail truck, one believed to have held 43 absentee ballots for the upcoming midterms, was completely destroyed after catching fire on Monday in rural Georgia.

The cause of the fire remains unclear at this time, as do many other facts surrounding the incident.

Pictures of the vehicle, completely engulfed in flames, went viral after the Baker County Sheriff’s Office shared them on Facebook.

Authorities say the driver was unharmed. But, unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the now-charred Jeep.

As far as the lost ballots go, it appears the Secretary of State’s office is taking the matter seriously.

“We’re working with USPS to see if they have images of what might have been on that truck, to reissue them,” said Interim Deputy Secretary of State Gabriel Sterling.

Sterling went on to offer her strategy to fix the problem.

“Worst comes to worst, we’ll reissue the 43 ballots or the county will reissue the 43 ballots, and first across the line for those voters will be the ballots that are accepted.”

According to Fox 5 Atlanta, election officials have already made contact with the local election director.

There would be no reason for suspicion if this mail truck burst into flames in the Democrat stronghold of downtown Atlanta. It didn’t. And instead happened in a rural Georgia town 150 miles outside of Atlanta, an area that just so happened to vote overwhelmingly Republican in the 2020 presidential election.

Speaking of elections, the swiftly approaching Georgia midterms could decide the balance of power in the U.S. Senate. Suspicion validated? You bet.

As you may recall, many deceased Georgians were somehow able to reincarnate themselves and vote for Joe Biden in 2020. There’s nothing the left won’t do to win; nothing is off the table.

Stories like these are very counterproductive, especially in a time when most voters on both ends of the political spectrum crave nothing more than a fair fight.

It will be interesting to see if the destroyed ballots end up getting replaced, or if this story, like so many others, will disappear into the abyss that is the neverending news cycle.
