Last year, Americans used their privately-owned firearms more than 1 million times to defend themselves. The truth may be shocking to the mainstream media, but the Second Amendment works.
The right to self-defense is an essential birthright of Americans. The right to bear arms is one granted by God, not by any government.
Gun use in the home or for personal defense is surprisingly common. A recent survey of gun owners found their use in self-defense about 1.7 million times per year. Just because some people don’t own guns doesn’t mean that they’re obsolete.
Furthermore, many involved in Second Amendment causes also understand the spike in gun sales due to rising crime rates. Nationwide murder rates in 2022 were down a hair from generation-high rates in 2020 and 2021.

Many on the left just don’t understand the need for self-defense. As the saying goes, when seconds count, police are just minutes away.
The ability to defend yourself and your family is essential for every American. The right to bear arms is one that no one should take for granted.
Furthermore, the expansion of interpreted gun rights after the 2008 Heller case is key. Every family may approach gun ownership in a different way, but they’re essential tools against both crime and tyranny.
Gun ownership has increased since the start of the pandemic. In fact, the rate of Americans who owned guns has increased from 32% to 39%. The danger of social disorder and crime centered attention on the right to self-defense.
States have been listening to their citizens and making keeping and bearing arms simpler. This includes a number of states that allow for constitutional carry without a permit.
States that have high levels of gun control, such as California and Illinois, often see very high crime rates. Gun control only punishes law-abiding citizens.
If last year is any indication, there is more reason to fulfill your constitutional rights as ever before.
