Rubio Slammed As Transphobic For Speaking The Truth

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is under fire for speaking a simple truth. At the National Conservatism Conference in Miami on Monday, the Republican simply stated that “every single human being that’s ever been born was born of a biological woman.”

That’s about as simple of a truth as there can be. But it was enough to draw the ire of radical leftists.

Rubio told the gathering that the notion that men are capable of being pregnant is not only in the lexicon of “woke commentators and professors,” but also the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

He noted that the CDC and others have changed their verbiage to “pregnant people” and away from simply women.

Rubio’s presentation, titled “The Loss of Common Sense: The New Divide in American Politics,” drew criticism from several outlets.

One left-leaning publication, “The Recount,” went so far as to call the senator’s statements a “transphobic attack.” The Recount claimed his assertion that only men become pregnant is “factually inaccurate” and is trotted out along with condemnation of the CDC for “pregnant people.”

Leftists have long argued that a person born biologically female but who later transitions to a “male” can still get pregnant. This is ignoring the fact that this person is still a biological female and will continue to be.

Rubio has also been critical of public health officials for using puberty blockers in children. The senator took a stand in Congress against this medically and morally questionable practice, much to the dismay of leftist gender ideologues.

Some Twitter users lined up behind Rubio by stating that science is neither “woke or transphobic,” it is merely a scientific fact that biological males do not get pregnant.

One, TownHall.com columnist Kurt Sclichter, tweeted that if a person leans towards voting for a Democrat because “they think men can become pregnant, I strongly urge you going with your gut on this.”

Rubio is right that common sense is dying a slow and painful death. Merely having to assert that a man cannot get pregnant is absurd enough, but enduring criticism as being “transphobic” for stating a scientific fact is a sign of the ridiculous times we live in.
