Do Americans have reason to doubt the integrity of the voting process? A new undercover video released by the journalists of Project Veritas may have exposed at least one instance of “illegal electioneering” for Pennsylvania statewide Democrat candidates John Fetterman and Josh Shapiro.
Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe alleged that the group’s undercover journalists were given instructions on who to vote for mere feet outside of a polling location. The posted video also cited a section of Philadelphia County’s training guide for election board officials defining electioneering, which highlights “Handing out campaign materials” and “Telling voters which candidates to support.”
A couple of the interactions were caught on camera. “This is referred to as electioneering,” asserted O’Keefe.
“This is a Democratic Party form,” said a “committee person” identified by Project Veritas as Rudy Stewart. The self-described committee member is seen with a stack of papers titled “Official Democratic City Committee Ballot” for the 2022 general election in Philadelphia County. “Here’s the ballot,” said Stewart as he spoke with an undercover journalist.
Another moment of the footage showed Stewart asking people passing by, “Anyone needs Democratic Party information?” He then handed out some material.

Later, Stewart can be seen pointing to the name of PA Republican Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz. “We’re scared of him,” he said.
“I’m scared of him. We’re scared of him,” Stewart stated, pointing to Oz’s name, then to the name Shapiro GOP rival Doug Mastriano. “So don’t vote for them?” asked an undercover journalist. “Yes,” answered Stewart. “These guys are scary.”
This posting does not mark the first time that Project Veritas has brought attention to allegedly shady election practices. A previous November 2021 recording from the organization highlighted the alleged illegal conduct of a New Jersey gubernatorial election worker who told a non-citizen that she would allow him to “fill out completely a ballot now.” Another story put out in October of 2022 featured an FBI Whistleblower-leaked document showing the organization allegedly targeting “misinformation” as an “election crime.”
A different “committee person” identified by Project Veritas as James Harrison, explained, “I just help out whoever, the majority of the community supports.”
“So you’re telling me I should vote for John Fetterman? I should vote for Joshua Shapiro?” asked an undercover journalist.
“If you vote Democrat, all of them are the Democratics [sic]. They only got one against one,” replied Harrison.
