Pedophiles And Murderers Detained At Border By BP Agents

Earlier this week, Border Patrol agents announced on X that they had caught two convicted pedophiles attempting to enter the United States. The migrants were trying to cross the border in Del Rio and Grande Valley, Texas.

Photos of the two predators were posted on U.S. Border Patrol Chief Jason Owen’s X account. He captioned the photos by writing, “These subjects were caught trying to reenter the U.S. illegally.” He also reminded Americans that the reason these offenders were captured was because of Border Patrol agents and their dedication to protecting the community. The hashtag “HonorFirst” was included in the post.

These weren’t the only predators stopped at the border this week. U.S. Border Patrol Chief Agent John Modlin of Tucsan announced the capture of two other migrant men with similar criminal histories in the prior weekend.

One subject had a felony conviction for second-degree murder and attempted murder. The other was convicted for endangering the welfare of a child. Modlin also posted photographs of the felons on his X account. Both migrants are facing federal prosecution.

Post Millennial reported that Border Patrol came into contact with over 600,000 illegal immigrants attempting to cross into U.S. territory since the beginning of October. The most telling detail of this statistic is the 50 migrants who were on the terror watchlist.

From the repeated number of pedophiles and felons stopped at the border to using the public school in New York City to house migrants, issues from uncontrolled illegal immigration continue to develop. There is an undeniable pressure on President Joe Biden to gain control over the ongoing situation. It’s no secret that the Gov. Abbott in Texas has resorted to his own strategies in keeping his southern border communities safe from the impact of record-breaking numbers of migrants.

However, Gov. Abbott isn’t the only Republican putting the spotlight on Biden. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson spoke on Saturday about the president’s neglect at the border. He clapped back at Biden’s recent claim that a president needs Congress to grant them emergency power in order to close a border.

Johnson posted to X, “As I explained to him in a letter late last year and have specifically reiterated to him on multiple occasions since, he can and must take executive action immediately to reverse the catastrophe he has created.” Johnson went on to cite the Nationality Act, insisting that Biden has “ample authority” at over the southern border.
