Billionaire Elon Musk has been making news daily since taking over operations at social media giant Twitter following his purchase of the company. Much of the new attention pointed at the platform has to do with Musk’s active promotion of free speech and reinstating previously banned users, most notably President Donald Trump.
On Tuesday, Musk drew attention by agreeing with conservative filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza who posted a tweet asserting the company’s censorship in recent years has all gone against conservatives while leaving liberals untouched.
D’Souza wrote in a Monday post: “We don’t hear much about Democrats and leftists being let back on Twitter. Why? Because they were never kicked off in the first place. Their lies and misinformation simply escaped all scrutiny. Censorship has been deployed as a one-way operation against conservatives.”
He tagged Musk in his post, leading to a one-word response from the new owner.
“Correct,” Musk commented.

In addition to restoring President Trump’s Twitter account over the weekend, Must restored the personal account of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green (R-GA) on Monday. She had seen her account “permanently suspended” by the platform for allegedly violating its terms of service and policies regarding how COVID-19 may be discussed.
Greene responded by posting on her official congressional account: “On January 2, 2022, they violated my freedom of speech and ability to campaign & fundraise crying ‘covid misinformation.’ My account is back.”
She told users to follow her on her restored personal account to receive “MTG unfiltered.”
Greene returned to posting to her personal account by Tuesday, heaping criticism on the Biden administration and particularly Anthony Fauci for its COVID-19 overreach and misdirection about the safety and efficacy of the vaccines.
In one post, she attached a clip of Fauci’s statements during his last press conference before officially retiring with the caption “I’m not vaccinated” repeated several times.
While it is not known if President Trump will return to posting on Twitter, it is certain that liberals and leftists will continue to throw tantrums about the loss of their power to ban opinions they disagree with.
