Radical left-wing policies continue the swift transition of the United States Military from powerhouse to global embarrassment.
The U.S. Air Force Academy, located just north of Colorado Springs, has been subject to widespread public outrage after a slideshow presentation from mandatory “Diversity & Inclusion.”
During the course, cadets learned that using words such as “mom” or “dad” is out of style. It sounds like the Air Force has decided to take a page out of the Black Lives Matter handbook and “disrupt the western-prescribed nuclear family structure.”
The disease of the left’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives has spread far and wide throughout the other military branches and many of our institutions. It was only a matter of time until the AFA became infected.
Fox News Digital obtained a particularly interesting slide titled, “Diversity & Inclusion: What it is, why we care, and what we can do.”
“Some families are headed by single parents, grandparents, foster parents, two moms, two dads, etc.: consider ‘parent or caregiver’ instead of ‘mom and dad,” a verbatim quote from the lesson.
“Use words that include all genders: ‘Folks’ or ‘Y’all’ instead of ‘guys’; ‘partner’ vs. ‘boyfriend or girlfriend,” reads another gem from the same slide.
“Not ‘Colorblind’ or ‘I don’t see color,’ but Color Conscious.”
Talk about cruel and unusual punishment. If there’s a torture resistance course at the academy, this graduation class should be authorized to skip it.
It was made clear to the cadets in the lesson’s introduction that “what’s said here, stays in the room.”
That’s another way of saying, “don’t rat us out to the general public.”
Rep. Mike Waltz (R-FL) pointed out the alarming parallels between the assimilation of gender ideology into our ranks and the military structure of both Russia and China.
“It reminds us of what the Soviets used to do or what the Chinese do today, where they literally have political commissars inserted at every level end of the chain of command, but they have a separate reporting chain to ensure that the military is abiding by their ideology and their political doctrine,” said Waltz to Fox News Digital.
Various other instances over the last several months had led many to be somewhat pessimistic about the future of the U.S. Military.
In July 2020, The U.S.S. Bonhomme Richard went up in flames in San Diego. The warship was totaled, leading to the punishment of over 20 sailors for their inexcusable, humiliating inability to extinguish the fire on a ship that was docked at port.
Abominations like that, along with Joe Biden’s disgraceful withdrawal from Afghanistan, have aided in fanning the fires of cynicism towards the military.
We can all remain hopeful for the day our men and women in uniform are allowed to resume the pursuit of military excellence instead of being forced to memorize fantasy biology terminology.
