Biden’s Daughter Owes Over $5,000 In Income Taxes

A newly uncovered tax lien document has revealed that President Joe Biden’s daughter, Ashley Biden, reportedly owes more than $5,000 in income taxes.

On December 1, the Philadelphia County Department of Revenue in Pennsylvania issued a lien notice to Ashley Biden. A lien notice is essentially a government claim imposed on an individual’s assets or property to secure unpaid taxes after repeatedly failing to collect the owed taxes.

The start date listed on the lien notice is January 1, 2015, a time when Ashely’s father was still serving as vice president in the Obama administration. The lien end date listed is January 1, 2021, just days before Joe Biden was sworn in as president, according to Fox News.

Neither Ashley Biden nor her attorney have made any public statements about the lien notice, and Fox News noted that they did not respond to multiple requests for comment on the matter.

The lien notice was discovered by Garrett Ziegler, founder of nonprofit watchdog group Marco Polo and former aide to then-President Donald Trump when he was searching through the Philadelphia County courthouse system.

“The scale is not anything like Hunter Biden, but… Joe Biden is constantly talking about how wealthy and connected people do not pay their fair share and can’t afford to pay more, and it just so happens that both of his living children did not pay their taxes,” Ziegler told Fox News Digital in an interview.

“Like, you’d think that they would show a little bit more prudence when you’re the first when you’re the American first family to make sure you don’t have any tax liens on you, especially going into an election year,” he continued.

“This is just another example of the Bidens being careless,” Ziegler added.

President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, has also been found to have not paid his taxes for several years, which amounted to much more money owed to the government than his sister. Just days before the news of Ashley Biden’s lien notice broke, Hunter Biden was indicted by Special Counsel David Weiss on three felony tax charges for not paying more than $1 million in taxes.

“Hunter Biden engaged in a four-year scheme in which he chose not to pay at least $1.4 million in self-assessed federal taxes he owed for tax years 2016 through 2019 and to evade the assessment of taxes for tax year 2018 when he filed false returns,” prosecutors wrote in a press release about the indictment.

Amid all of this, the president shared a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, condemning Republicans and vowing to “make sure the wealthy pay their fair share” — prompting numerous comments about his own wealthy children refusing to “pay their fair share.”
