Joe Biden’s ominous and threatening speech in Philadelphia Thursday night left many stunned at how openly he spoke about the “threat” posed by Republican voters who dare to support President Donald Trump. The carefully staged event gave Biden the opportunity to call “MAGA forces” a threat to America while reading from his speechwriters’ script. By Friday morning, things were back to a normal level of Biden incompetence.

On Thursday, Biden said that MAGA Republicans are guilty of “extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.” Biden unambiguously said that half of the nation’s voters do not support the Constitution or the rule of law.
Biden said, “As I stand here tonight, equality and democracy are under assault. We do ourselves no favor to pretend otherwise.” He added that the problem is that the GOP is “dominated, driven, and intimidated” by the “MAGA Republicans.”
“That is a threat to this county,” Biden said.
The aggressive speech came after remarks Biden made at a political fundraising event in Maryland last week in which he called the “MAGA Republican philosophy semi-fascism.”
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre supported Biden’s rhetoric, saying that the “definition of fascism” means attempts to restrict abortion and allegedly removing voting rights. She said that any American who is “not with where a majority of Americans are, then that is extreme, that is an extreme way of thinking.”
During an event where he was delivering remarks on the fallout of the American Rescue Plan Friday, Biden was asked by Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy if he considers “all Donald Trump supporters to be a threat to the country.”
Biden first responded as he typically does to any question asked by Doocy, by sneeringly dismissing the subject matter with his standard “come on!” Biden went on to say, “You keep trying to make that case, and I don’t consider any Trump supporter to be a threat to the country.”
Then Biden said that anyone who calls for violence, fails to condemn violence, refuses to “to acknowledge an election that’s been won,” or “insists upon changing the way in which the rules and count votes” is a threat to American democracy.
